Overdue And Need To Vent

I'm now 4 days overdue and completely miserable. My doctor won't induce until I'm 10 days over (Monday). I'm still working and can't seem to get my boss to understand that I can't just go running around the building running errands for him (I'm in HR). I'm trying to be as patient as possible since he's going to allow me to work from home after the baby is born so I don't have to go on short term at only 80% of my salary. To top it all off I still haven't dialated any. I'm sure there are others in my same situation out here that just need a venting corner. :)

Hi Kelly K--well, I am not there yet, but was 10 days overdue with my first. It sucks! I was so sick and tired those 2 weeks, I could not have gone to work--YUCK. My doctor never induced, and now I am glad, because all progressed normally, albeit, slowly. I never dilated until the cramps were really strong (I had 2-3 days of pretty hard cramping, with NO dialation). Just remember, it will happen--you will have that baby and it won't be more than 10 days away, Good luck!! Re: your boss, try panting and moving slowly, maybe she will get the point!
