Pelvic Pressure I Think

I'm going to be 38 weeks on Friday. For the past month and a half I have had pretty regular contractions that they go in and stop and then everything starts back up again pretty much the next day. Over the past 3-4 hours or so, I have felt like the baby is going to just push my cervix completely out of me. There's so much pressure that i've gotten sick 2 times since this started due to the pressure and pain that is associated with it. I have had contractions today, pretty strong ones, but nothing of frequency. I don't know what to do. It hurts to walk, it hurts to sit down, I can't find a comfortable position no matter what I do. My last dr. appt which was a week ago, I was measuring a 2 and was effaced 60%. What do you guys think? Should I go up to L&D considering that i'm scheduled to have a c-section on the 1st and my drs office doesn't have anyone on call at night that I could get a hold of?

i would definatley call L&D or just go in....it is better to be safe than sorry. What's the worst they could say, no, your not in labor??? I would definatley call if you are that uncomfortable. Good Luck and keep us posted!

I am having a scheduled c-section also and I was told to call if I had problems and one of the problems listed on the sheet they gave me was severe pelvic pressure. Since you're getting sick too I think you should go to l&d. Like crrodgers said they worst they'll do is send you back home. It happens all the time with pregnant women, I am sure! Good luck!
