Hey girls just have a quick question. I have been having period like cramping off and on since last night, I was so uncomfortable last night that I couldn't sleep. It feels like I'm going to start a raging period. I am 36 weeks and 5 days 2 cm dilated as off last week and the baby is fully engaged at 0 station. Could this be early labor?

It could be the start of early labor, I am 37 weeks tomorrow and have had some fits of period like cramps, but I am not very dilated nor do I have many other symptoms except for the cramps and losing my plug. I hope it is about your time so you can meet your baby :)

Yeah me too..I'm starting to get nervous. If they would have stopped today I wouldn't be nervous, but since they have stayed pretty consistent and gotten more uncomfortable, I'm starting to wonder? I think I will definetly call the doc in the morning if they keep up, unless they get worse overnight??

Call your doc for peace of mind if they don't let up after laying down, or anytime you need :) Sometimes it's false alarm, but not always, better safe than sorry.

I agree... call your doc. Being that you are already 2cm and 36 weeks.. this could well be the start of the big event! :) Good luck!

Im only 30 weeks and have been having bad cramps all day...and lower back pain. And to top it off when I woke up this morning I went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was a bloody tinged discharge like stuff....it lasted like 3 hours... I didn't go to the doc because I had my baby shower today and didn't want to miss it!! Im confused as to what could be the problem...
