I'm pretty sure that your doctor will give you instructions. The best thing (I think) you can do right now is relax. I know it's easier said than done, but it's true. If there was any immediate danger, your doctor would have sent you over to the hospital right away. I should learn to take my own advice when it comes to stress! Good luck!

Wait for the results of your 3 hour test befor you panic. I too failed my 1 hr test but pa__sed the 3 hour. If you do have GB you will most likely have to monitor your blood sugar and your diet. I know that it is possible that if you do have it your baby may be born with immature lungs and your baby could poaaibly be larger than the average baby. I don't know about being anemic, you should adk your doctor about that.

The anemia isn't really an issue until it is time to give birth-- it can cause you to be weaker and make the bleeding harder to stop. When they give you an iron supplement, make sure it contains chelated iron. Chelated means that it is bound to a protein which makes it easier for your body to absorb. Otherwise it will just make you constipated and you won't absorb much of it. Sounds like the other ladies gave you great advice on the GD. I myself have been anemic for the majority of my life, and my mom was during her pregnancy with me (apparently I was sucking the iron out of her). Good luck!
