Question For Those Who Have Experienced Real Contractions

I got a NST test done today & they timed my contractions 6 minutes apart and then 5 minutes apart. Thing is... I asked the nurse if it was the real contractions or BH & they said they have no way of telling. All they can tell is if I am contracting being real or fake so we decided with my doc to get induced tomorrow based on this info. So my question is: what if they aren't the real contractions? they seem to come and go during the day and are not constant until nightime when I am sleeping or sitting in a long car ride. I guess it shouldn't matter since I am a week overdue anyways... but just wanted to get advice to see if I am on the right track. thanks for any comments...

also... does walking really help towards labor?

You know I don't know if walking really helps towards labor, but one of my friends makes me walk on the weekends and I tell you when we walk alot I really feel like baby is about to bottom out on me! Aboout the contractions-that really makes me have faith in the "professionals." LOL. I mean how the heck are they gonna sit their and say "oh you are just having BH if they themselves can't tell the difference? Congrats on getting induced-I would be so antsy by now I would be begging for it!
