Restless

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and feel very restless. I work at a computer all day and during the day I feel like I always need to move my legs. Whenever I try to sit I feel restless. Normal?

I have the same problem. Luckily at my job I can get up and walk around pretty much whenever I want. Make sure you have a stool under your desk to elevate your feet. I'm 39 weeks and I can't believe I've lasted this long. I keep telling my son to come on already so I can go on maternity leave. If I didn't absolutly have to work, I probably would have taken an early leave of absence. Or, worked part time during the last trimester.

I am 32 weeks and I get very restless at night. I find it very had to get into a comfortble position and my legs just ache and hurt that I constantly move them.

I get that way periodically. The closer I seem to get (I'm 37 weeks), the more so I feel this way. Especially at work! I sit at the computer all day and I can't tell you how many times a day I shift in my chair or get up and walk around a little just to stretch! It's completely normal!!

Karen - I had leg aches/cramps at night that would wake me up at night, makes sleeping impossible. They went COMPLETELY away after I started taking a calcium tablet before bed and eating a banana per day. This was suggested by the midwife at the hospital I go to. WHAT A BLESSING!
