Shortness of breath is normal as the baby takes up more and more space in the belly. It crowds the lungs. S_x can also get uncomfortable, but unless you have complications and your doc says not to, s_x should be ok right up until due date. I don't know anyone who really enjoys s_x this late in pregnancy, but the ones who opt for it are usually trying to ripen the cervix. Anything to get those babies out! :-)

Hi! I am due 12/29. I am constantly out of breath. Even when I'm not having s_x!! Don't worry, it's totally normal. The baby has pushed your insides around alot and your lungs get kind of compressed. It cuts your lungs capacity way down (amount of air they can hold). We don't have much longer, and the baby will drop down. That wll give us alot of relief and make us breathe easier! As for s_x, try doggie style......you can get plenty of air. Him being on top just won't work anymore....plus, the stomach's in the way....LOL Good luck!

I have the same thing happen to me and this is our third pregnancy so my DH knows once a week or two is good enough. Same here it feels like it got tighter down there. OUCH wait until after birth if you are like me if will be your first time again.
