Skin Tag On One Nipple Can I Still Breastfeed

I have had a skin tag on my nipple for oh, ever since I was little and it has come off a time or two, but grown back. When I went to my OB appt. yesterday, I forgot totally about asking about it so I wanted to see if any of you have had an experience with this. I was wondering did I need to have it removed to br___tfeed from that br___t, or will it be ok?

I just wanted to let you know that I have had lots of them and I either pick them off or scratch them off, and mine seem to come back too. If you have never b___stfed you will find it hard & painful at first but it will probably tear it off. The first one of mine I b___stfed I thought my whole nipple was going to fall off because I couldn't get her to latch on right. gl

Skin tags commonly occur during pregnancy, even though you've had yours for a long time. When I was pregnant, I got a bunch of them. I had my doctor snip a few that seemed as though they'd fall off about 2 weeks before my due date so they would have time to heal. You can absolutely still b___stfeed, I was unsucessful, but it had nothing to do with my skin tags. I really do not see the need in having it removed, looking back there was no need to have mine removed. Most of them pretty much have disappeared now, 6 months post partum.

There are a million little holes the milk comes out of, not just one, if that's what you are worried about, like the tag will block the hole or something. I can't believe people pick or get tags cut off?? I just read that they show up when you are pregnant and most go away after so I just ignore them, ugly as they are!
