all i can say is i have tried coco b___ter, cream, lotion, oil, vitamin E, you name it. i even started putting it on religeously before i started to even get an itchy belly, I think there is no hope for those of us that are to be doomed, lol. Try putting your hands on your belly and applying little pressure, but dont scratch or rub.

thanks for the advice. I've put coco b___ter on since 2 months- hoping to prevent the stretch marks.... lol ! ! ! That stuff does help, but get this-- turns out I got hives too due to an allergic reaction to.. well.. something! Ah, the joys of pregnancy!

Yer it helps to a certain degree but not 100% I'm smothered in them and have been since I had my first at 19yrs old. When I got my very first stretch mark, I was really exited. (for some demented reason) After that they didn't stop coming....Oh well, They're worth it!!! I thank God everyday for my children. PRAISE GOD!!

Already the mother of one 4 yr old, I made it thru the entire last pregnancy w/o any stretchmarks on my belly. I am giving pure shea b___ter all the credit. I purchased a small container of this thick cream from an arab family shoppe in downtown Hbg where I live. I am using it w this pregnancy and I am now 30 wks pregnant w/o any stretch marks on my belly. The only mistake I made last time was not applying it to the rest of my body. I did get marks on my b___t and b___sts. Try it. It works.

I read up on the itchy stretch marks and apparently, it can get worse! Some women get little bumps through the stretchmarks that itch like @#$%! (Great, now our symptoms can get symptoms!) The article as said that the only cure for this is, like all other symptoms, birth. Wow, really helpful huh? Try an unmedicated, anti-itch cream (ask a pharmacist to hook you up) and this may help. I don't have em' yet but I don't hold high hopes. I've been using coco b___ter too and this has been keeping the itch away.

I have been experiencing itchy, bumpy, swollen stretch marks. I put ice on them and put Palmer's soothing oil on my bellt after I refrigerated it. The ice soothed me for a couple of hours. Refrigerating the oil also provided relief. :)

any kind of lotion should work, the cocoa b___ter and shea b___ter works wonders on mine! any kind with aloe, or moisturizer should do the trick, try not to scratch though because it can cause rashes and such and more scaring.
