I'm 39 weeks, almost 40 actually (due on Monday 11/28) and my inner thighs are killing me! My whole crotch area is sore actually. At times, I can barely walk. Is anyone else who is due soon feeling this too? Currently, I'm 3cm dialted and my cervix is at 80%. No steady contractions, although I am getting them.

When did your soreness start? I am only 30 weeks but I've had sore (very upper) inner thighs and around my crotch are since the beginning. Its always when I very first wake up but gradually gets better. Its hard for me to get up and walk around in the am. Perhaps its just sore from tossing and turning? I don't think that soreness is a sign of anything. I bet you are so excited! Do you think you will go into labor on Monday?

I suffered this for almost all of my pregnancy. The only thing that give me any relief was a hot water bottle in between my legs. I had ot get my partner to get up about 4am to fil it for me so it would still be warm when I woke in the morning. It was awfull.

beth..... can you manage to turn when you are in bed? I couldn't even manage to do that. The baby was lying in a position that was doing something to my ligaments, which is what caused the pain and stiffness.

Phew, at least it's not just me. My crotch has been sore for a while now, a few months at least, but the inner/upper thigh is new today. I so hope I go into labor soon, I'm so done with being pregnant and want to meet my little girl.

Well I wish you lots of luck! Lesley-its quite a feat but I go from my left to my right side all night long cuz the side I am sleeping on gets numb. I have a body pillow in between my legs so I was thinking that was causing me to use those inner thigh muscles.

Try dusting baby powder between your thighs, it has helped me (but I use loads of it!)
