I am 36 wks pregnant for the past few weeks I've been feeling sore in the pelvis/groin area, I feel like I've been horseback riding or something lol does this mean the baby is dropping already?

It's possible. Is this your first baby? If so, that is most likely what it is.

I am one week late and I have had this problem for about a month and a half. It is probably from the baby engaging, because when my dr. checked me at 36 weeks she said the baby was already engaged, so he could have possibly been engaged even before 36 weeks. Also, it could be your pelvis bones separating, making room for the baby. I got excited when the dr. told me the baby was already engaged because I thought I would go into labor soon, but here I am 1 week late. Don't get to excited if the baby is engaged, but good luck to you.

Hi, For 2 nights, my pelvis has been very sore. exactly like Jamie, as if i've been horse riding. my gynec said I might go into labor earlier than my due date. During the day time I am fine. And I havent had any contractions so far. this is my first baby. I am also excited about going into labor early. But after reading cyndi's post, I am not so sure now. Well it will happen when its gonna happen. the sore pelvis made me pack my hospital bag ( I had been pushing it off) and getting the things ready for the baby. So I am glad anyway., now that I am prepared for my little one to arrive into this world anytime.
