Quite frankly, I'm sick! What can I take being 36 weeks pregnant and still having a life. I plan on resting today, but that isn't going to work for the rest of the couple weeks. I really want to zap this thing now! Any suggestions??

For the stuffy nose, I've used a "Salt Aire" nose spray throughout my pregnancy since I suffer from allergies when I'm not pregnant too. The "Salt Aire" is a drug-free nasal wash which you can buy at a drugstore in the cold/allergy section. It's more expensive (about $10) than other brands, but I find it works the best for clearing my nose and throat. I've also taken Benadryl occasionally too, though try to avoid it because it makes me sleepy and groggy the following morning. As for headaches, I have taken Tylenol occasionally. Of course, ask your ob-gyn before taking anything or if you're worried about taking medication or what's bothering you. I'm 36 weeks pregnant too and we don't have long to go. Good luck!

I have taken regular sudafed for miserable allergies, although I have only taken 4 pills in my entire pregnancy. I know that benadryl is safe too, but it will probably make you tired. Give your doctor a call and they can tell you what will work best.
