I have been taking calcium supps throughout my whole pregnancy and just increased my dosage when I hit third trimester because that's when the calcium is the most important for baby. I take calcium citrate and my doctor said that was fine. I would start them now if I were you. If you are worried about it, talk to your doctor.

I'd suggest that you give your dct a quick call to double check. Although I doubt it's a problem, every person's case is different and why not just double check before starting them?
