i need to but my first stroller. just looking for some advice. we do a lot of walking with the dog, so i was thinking something with big wheels and good suspension. is it worth the convienence to get the travel one that goes with the car seat.

You know, I battled over the same kind of question... should I go with the travel system or more of a lightweight, easy to maneuver stroller? Well, hubby and I have opted for a lightweight. We haven't gotten it yet, but we're going with one of the MacLarens. They seem to be easy to steer, have some of the goodies that the big strollers have, but are easy to fold up and take with you on trips. We got our car seat separate... especially because I specifically wanted the graco snugride (good ratings).

If most of your walking, you will be leaving from your house, you will put the baby in the stroller and not use the carseat. I find most you can put teh carseat ontop of the stoller. I have the Zooper, boogie and it works great with my Graco Carrier when we go to the mall, and I dont want to wake him. It has air tires, big wheels, is really light ot push, but heavy to carry.

Hi Sami, I have purchased a Bob's Revolution Stroller, http://www.bobtrailers.com/. For an additional purchase, the stroller has an attachment for an infant car seat. I absolutely love it! It is light and easy to fold up. The website states it is a jogging stroller but it is great for off road usage and has the one of the best suspensions I have seen so far. Definitely look at many models and play with them at your local stores before you make your purchase. Good Luck!
