I am 36 weeks along. I have so much to do (wash the baby's clothes and bedding, clean the house, pack for the hospital, still working full time) and yet, can barely manage to keep my eyes open. Has anyone experienced this? I am wiped out, all I want to do is crawl into bed and sleep. Would it be so bad to call in from work? I manage a Hardware store... I don't know how helpfull or productive I am going to be.

Absolutly NO way would it be so bad to call into work! Right now your priority should be you and your baby. I am only 24 weeks and I'm really tired too. I came to the mental decision that everything has to slow down for me right now. I'm used to running around like a crazy woman and it's just not worth it. I lost my first pregnancy I think because I had too much on my plate. It does have to be a concious decision however as there will alsways be someone or something pulling you in a million directions WORK included. I worked for Home Depot for 7 years and I know how demamding the hardwars store environment can be! I read your other response about b___stfeeding and you said that you put your employees above you. Right now you need to put your baby above all else. I know you might feel guilty but that is something you can get over. Especially if you are in mmanagement and can delegate some responsibility to others, utilize that position. Nobody will fault you for that at 36 weeks pregnant. Slow sown and get the baby stuff together and relax. Just my honest advice and opinion
