Has anyone ever experienced this? I am 35 wks and am going in for an US Tuesday. What does this mean and what will happen most likely (c-section or what)?

It lmeans your baby is in the breech position lying sideways across your uterus. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and my baby is in the breech position too, lying transverse across my uterus. An ultrasound will confirm whether the baby is in the breech position or not. As for delivery, you may have a c-section or a v____al birth. It depends on the baby, what you decide, and what your doctor recommends. Ask your doctor and for information on your options. Good luck!

I am 30 weeks not as far as either of you but my baby is transverse too! She was like that on the last two ultrasounds. I go in Wed to get my next US done but I think she is in the same position. I can just tell by the movements! Hopefully they will all move the correct way before we all deliver! Good Luck to both of you!

YOu can also go to a good chiropractor with experience in this and have them turn the baby. It only takes a couple of minutes to do.

Sometimes they may even try to move the baby to avoid a c section. I have heard that is quite uncomfortable though but I am sure not as uncomfy as the healing process of a C
