Traveling Okay

I was just wondering if traveling short distances was okay toward the end of pregnancy? I'll be 38 weeks on Christmas Eve, and we always go to my grandmothers which is a little over two hours away...I don't want something to happen and not beable to get to my doctor...

Talk with your dr. about that. I know some want you to be close to home and is there a Dr. close to your grandmother?

Two hours doesn't sound like a short journey to me. I would check there is a doctor close by and hospitals on route just in case. For me I probably wouldn'tt make that trip and would wait until after baby is born and visit then. I found when I was in labour with my first that the car journey made things move a lot faster so be warned!! Good luck on whatever you decide but if the Doctor advises against it I would make sure to go by his recommendation.
