tums are safe... but not too many. right now they are my savior. i can't sleep without them. i also just found out i'm anemic. Too much calcium is an antogonist to iron... low iron leeds to anemia. Fatigue, dizziness, nasuiousness... no fun. just be careful not too take around the time you take your vitamins or eat a meal containing iron... you need your iron! it doesn't harm the baby... the baby gets everything he or she needs but doesn't leave much for you. take care, hope this helps.

tums are safe for your baby. I had a problem with kindney and gall stones because I was taking tums 4 or 5 a day my whole pregnancy, which caused calcium deposits ( kid or gall stones) I had to be induced with my first child because of the pain of the stones, it was pure hell!!

yes-they are i have pa pregnancy booklet that tells me whats safe and whats not tums are-probably cuz they are so nasy!!!

hiya if u are takin them for heartburn and indigestgan then i would recomend u take gaviscon its the best and most affective plus theres no side affecs its been my god send i drink it a mouth full as soon as i get heartburn and its gone in a few seconds hope this helps any of u i would deffo get some , people in the uk can get it free on prescription.
