Hello all, I'm 26 weeks now, and as of last week the baby was fully in breech position. I've been having some early contractions as well. Feel better now though. I've experienced some strong twinges in the va___al area, during the night and during activities during the day. What does it mean, is the cervix starting to dialate/ to efface, would that mean I might have the baby early??? who can help ? thanks and all the best to you all!

I wouldn't worry about the baby being breech yet. He/she has time to switch postions before delivery. Also I experience pains in the v____a area all the time. I don't think that you have anything to worry about. I went to the hospital with bleeding a few weeks ago. My cervix was closed even with all the contractions that I was having. But everyone is different. I can only tell you what happpened to me. If you are seriously worried, I would call the doctor.

There is no such thing as a baby in "breech" position at only 26 weeks. The baby shifts constantly, at least a few times daily. The baby is probably in a bad position. Just drink lots of water as this causes the baby to shift.
