Well... It looks like we are in the same boat! My due date is the 26th and I too have not dilated, but I talked about it with some people and they say that you can ask your doctor about inducing labor, but the thing about that is if the induction fails, you will have to have a c-section. But I have heard of way to induce labor, like drinking castor oil, but I heard it may cause your baby to have meconium. S_x is another thing I heard works, but I have been doing it and its not working for me! Walking doesn't work either, but I don't think we should give up. I think the baby will comes when he gets ready, but it doesn't seem like he's ready. Maybe you should see what works for you, but I advise you not to drink castor oil!

No I will not drink castor oil, or s_x no way I am just gonna wait untill the time comes and she is born I am not in hurry I dont care if pa__s my due date but only problem is using the bathroom alot a night and getting up from bed is so hard.

yeah! I have that feeling too! I don't blame you for not being in a hurry! I wanted to have my baby for so long and after there were no signs. . . I just didn't care no more. I too am just going to wait but still engage in my regular activities! I'm pretty sure you doctor is going to ask if you want to induce when you are 2 weeks past due anyways!

Also, urinating regularly is normal. All pregnant women urinates like that! It's perfectly normal!

I am sooooo right there with you. I might as well get a blanket and pillow and sleep on the toilet. All I do is pee. Like you many many times a night. I'm in alot of pain. It hurts to sit down on the toilet. I'm sore from sleeping on my side from all the pressure. My lo seems to be far down in my pelvis.

Yes, perfectly normal and perfectly annoying!! I'm 36 weeks and getting up and average of 5 times per night. I would not rush your pregnancy for that though...it'll come!! I feel pain from the pressure of laying on my sides all night too. I feel like I'm squishing him!

it sucks, doesn't it? i've been up that often for the last month almost, especially lately he is killing my bladder as he gets lower. i am 37w. my bed is super high (pillow top) and even with a stool, it is not easy getting out of bed, so the nightly bathroom trips are no fun!!!!

You may find at your next visit that there is some change b/c it sounds like your baby has dropped. There is usually a noticeable increase in need to urinate once the baby moves into position. Has your doctor said anything about effacement b/c that usually happens before/faster than dilation on first time pregnancies (a__suming that this is your first). Hope that things start moving along for you!

I also feel for you. I am 38 weeks today and have been peeing non-stop for 9 months! Even more so this last month. I pee almost every 20 minutes during the day. Or have the urge to I should say. Then I get there and a whole 2 Tablespoons worth is all I get!!! I try not to drink anything after 7:30 but it just dosn't matter. The night is when the real pee comes out to play! I think it's natures way of preparing us for the 2,4 and 6am feedings. I know Im already use to it.

Last night I told my DH I am going to put a mattress on the floor in the bathroom and just sleep in there from now until the baby comes!! I know how you feel, for me it started right away, at about 8 weeks PG and has only gotten worse now that the baby is so much bigger and I am carrying so low.
