so about 30 mins ago I was lazing on my sofa And my sister came home with her friend. well my mum's jack russell went mental and jumped on my stomach so hard it knocked the wind out of me. The spot she jumped on was right where my daughters back and bum are. I laid in bed for a few mins and my daughter started moving again. I am scared that she could be in distress though or something. Since the jump, I have started to get lower back pain and I am kind of crampy. I am 39 weeks. Should I maybe ring my midwife or am I over reacting?

YOu are probably over reacting, but it may have started labour or something, My mum started out with back pains. I dont think she would be in distress, but it would NEVER hurt to find out...look dumb for a minute in finding out, or possibly loosing your baby....not a hard decision. Good Luck

Then it should be alright, I know what you mean about ready to come out haha, Im only 35 weeks, and well past ready! Anyways, its always best to call, thats why women have babys and men dont....women over react to everything in return...make sure everything is okay and healthy and safe...men on the other hand...."oh honey dont worry its nothing, blah blah blah"! Im sure everything is good, I have a big dog and she jumps on me all the time...I think my baby is used to it though lol! Good luck and Hope you get your little girl VERY soon :D

aw, thank you so much for the comfort. I think i will call just to make sure. I mean she is really flailing about in there right now so I dont think anything is wrong now, I was just afraid because that dog jumped on me really hard. good luck to you as well!!!
