Vericose Veins

Does anybody know how to prevent/stop/get rid of these things, I've noticed that I've gotten a few in my legs, as if stretch marks weren't bad enough. I feel like by the time I have this baby I should give up hope of ever being seen in public on a beach again! But anyways, does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

You can have them injected after pregnancy if they don't go away on their own. I had this done once (before I was prego) cuz I am super pale and they really show up a lot where I cross my legs and stuff. Anyway, it cost me around $200 for both legs, and did not hurt much at all. I will have to have it done again after this pregnancy cuz mine are terrible.

Beth, I know how you feel, because my legs are covered in them. I feel like my grandma. The only thing I've read to supposedly prevent them is to elevate your legs and wear support hose. well I always elevate my legs and I still got them. As for support hose. I'm uncomfortable enough without trying to sqeeze into a tight pair of hose everyday. I don't think I could physically do it! I'm going to look into the surgery.
