I am 36 weeks pregnant. My hubby has been out of town doing his Masters program since the beginning of September. My son is in school so i have ALOT of time on my hands! I feel like i eat, sleep, and breathe baby! It is driving me crazy all this waiting around. Anyone else out there feeling sooo uncomfortable, tired and bored out of their mind? I hope this baby comes in the next 2 weeks cause i have definately had enough of this!!

I feel your pain, I know what you mean when you say everything is about baby. I cant read, watch tv or anything unless it has to do with being preggo. I try some of my old activites, some of my fav movies and, I just lose interest. my due date was the 16th, and I have had no signs of labor whatsoever, but my dr. is gonna induce next tues the 23 if she dont come out before them. I remember that from 37 weeks up until 40 weeks was the hardest time ever. especially because you know your full term, and if your baby would just come pregnancy would be over. good luck, your almost there

I only get 6 weeks of maternity leave from work so I'm not taking it until .. well until I go into labor. That's so scary. I don't know if I'd rather be bored like you or scared like me! I'm trying not to worry about it yet, I have until February. Good luck!

I get bored too. Everyone tells me to enjoy it - we won't have the luxury of being bored when the baby comes. (I am sick of getting this kind of advice from non pregnant women - you could call it jealousy) Anyway, I'm learning to play the guitar. The baby loves it (- or hates it!) she starts squirming around when I play. Try learning something new it gives you mind a challenge and keeps your mind off the incessantly slow wait for the baby.

I go to school during the day, and i come home after school usually sleep watch tv. On the weekends go to the movies with some friends and maybe go hangout with them for awhile. I don't like going to far from home.

I love to do jigsaw puzzles so thats what I do when I have had enough of cleaning the house and running after my 4 year old daughter. I am also a part time student with a part time job. Being 30wks pregnant I will not be able to do the part time job too much longer so I guess I'll just make the most of the closeness of my 4yr old while we watch the Baby Stories on the Health channel

I'm working up until 10 days before my due date so that keeps me busy along with the fact that we just moved into a new house and everything in it is new (and took a lot of work!) I'm taking 7 months paid maternity leave and my other half is taking 5 months paid maternity leave. Yup, just one of the perks of being in Canada (52 wks leave) and being in the military (Paid leave on top of it!) I would have liked to have started my leave a little earlier but I want to wait until my next promotion is effective because my pay while on leave will be based on it. However, I don't know what I would have done with myself all day either, given that we have no other children and winter's coming!
