Tylenol has acetaminophen, which is what is in aspirin. This is why it says you shouldn't take them together. I think that acetaminophen has a thinning effect on your blood, which is why they give it at hospitals to prevent blood clots and heart attacks (they did for my dad). Anyways, this thinning of the blood is why the docs say not to take it while pregnant. I'm sure if you just took one dose it isn't going to be a problem, but I would stick with the sudafed and robitussin.

my doctor with DS said Tylenol and he is 21 months old.....my doctor with this pregnancy said Tylenol too. Acetaminophen (tylenol) is the first thing you can give your baby too when they need shots or for teething......Acetaminophen is not in Aspirin I do not believe because they do not recommend anyone under the age of 19 taking aspirin because of Reyes Syndrome. I would however wouldn't worry about the Tylenol you already took and now follow either Sudafed/Robitussin

hmm...interesting...i'd never heard that, specifically regarding Reyes Syndrome.
