What Discomfort Is Normal

This is my first baby, so please forgive me if i'm being dense about this, but... I am experiencing a wide range of stomach discomfort - its not necessarily painful, but I know it is there. I know some of it is braxton hicks - my stomach feels quite tight and it is just like period pain. Other pain I know is trapped wind, but now I'm getting a new one. It is similar to the feeling that you might get if you've knocked into something. It is not a cramp, more of a dull ache. I'm wondering if this is normal or something to worry about. My dr says it is probably the uterus exanpding and it is a muscle pull type pain, but I always like to ask other mums if they have experienced this too, just for extra reassurance. I'm 32 weeks and carrying an extra large baby. I know that it seems logical to feel uncomfortable considering this, but I do just need someone to say, yeah, I know the feeling...! Does that make sense?!

i'm 37 wks pg with my first trust me, you'll feel all sorts of strange pains in your abdomen region. At first, they would scare me, but then i realized it was completely normal. You have to think about the fact that there is a baby growing inside of you. Your stomach and uterus are stretching all the time. It's just growing pain. Not to mention, sometimes the baby just lays in a way that's not real comfy....like a foot in the rib or something like that. Don't worry....although I know that's easier said than done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
