What Does Quot Dropping Quot Feel Like

This is my second baby I should know, but I don't think my son ever really dropped the first time. That's why I had a c-section. I'll be 33 weeks on Sun and for the past few days I have been feeling a little pressure in my who haa. I don't feel any pressure anywhere else. It almost feels like I'm carrying a softball in there (who haa). Is this "dropping"?

yes it def. could be starting to drop. Have you noticed having the urge to pee more also? The pressure and the urge to pee more often are some of the first signs that your lo could be dropping. So are your dr.'s going to let you try a vbac this time or are you scheduled for another csection?

Oh, and with my 1st and with this one I could tell I was dropping because the pressure in my pelvic region just gets worse and worse to the point to where I can hardly walk. So if your lo is dropping this may be the next feeling you experience...

I do have a repeat c-section scheduled, just because my due date is so close to Christmas. But if I go into labor before, they have given me the ok for a vbac. I really don't remember feeling this before. And I do think that I have the urge to go a lot more. Well, I guess it's almost time!!

I could just tell because despite the pain in my pelvic region getting worse, but still lightening up from time to time my belly b___ton began to start pointing south. Just last night I believe she completed that journey because I can't hardly walk the pressure and pain is so bad! Plus my stomach is a tad more droopy.:) I think you'll be able to tell, plus your doctor might tell you too. Mine told me she can feel Phoenix's head up there really well.

That's great that you may have a chance at a vbac! Heaven makes a point about the belly looking different as well. When people start saying "you look like you've dropped!" It probably is happening. Mine has went from high and looking like I literally have a basketball hooked to me to a tear drop look. And people tell me all of the time how low it's getting etc. Anyway, good luck!

Thanks, I have my next appt on Wednesday so hopefully I'll get some answers. I still have 7 weeks, I thought this happened closer to the end.

I think it can happen anytime in the third trimester:) As long as you don't go into labor before term eh?

yep think so. :)

Thanks, I've been really paranoid during this entire pregnancy. This should be a fun feeling for the next 7 weeks!!
