Hello! When did everyone's Dr. tell them to start taking a kick count? When- in am or pm? how many times a day? How many kicks per hour? Thanks!

I was told to start counting kick at 34 weeks. My Dr. said choose the time of day that your baby is most active and you should get 10 movements (not just kicks) within one hour. Hope this helps for you..

hmmm, I heard it was supposed to be 10 kicks in 20 minutes, but I'm sure all dr.s orders are different and I'm only 30 weeks now. :)

Apparantly, the new "rules" for fetal kick counting are 6 movements in 75 minutes. I started at 22 weeks, and usually do them in the evening after dinner. I find my baby goes crazy after a gla__s of orange juice!
