Why Do I Feel Like I Just Rode A Horse

I am 28 weeks and lately I have felt like a cowboy when I walk. I feel like I have just finished riding a horse ! Its not a crampy feeling its a sore feeling. I am by no means carrying low, my girl is right in the centre of my belly. Her head is down but I get scared that her head is too down and her body is stretched out up top. My doctor said she is a great size and laying in a great position. Do you know what could be causing this cowboy feeling?? Has anyone else had this??

I am 28 weeks too and feel the same exact thing, it is more of an aching feeling down low. It's so hard to explain. I have not talk to my Dr. yet, but will bring it up next week when I go.

Hi! This sounds very familiar to me, I've had that feeling with each of mine. I read that a certain hormone produced during pregnancy make the ligaments and joints relax and that it really becomes noticable around the beginning of the last trimester. This just helps to relax the pelvis for birthing. Nothing to worry about I don't think, but you may want to be extra careful around stairs and on ice, etc., that weird wobbly leg feeling might make your balance off a bit!

thanks ladies, it's good to know I am not the only one feeling this. It was just scaring me a bit cuz I am leaving for Mexico Saturday and I would hate for it to be a sign of preterm labour! I'd have a little Mexican baby! :-)

I'm 33 weeks, starting to feel like a wishbone being pulled apart. Seriously, my pelvic bone must be so soft from the relaxin. It honestly feels like my legs are going to break off if I move even slightly the wrong way.
