I can't answer your question about if 30 weeks is too late or not. If you are worried about the shot itself, don't be, I've had 4 of them. One after a m/c, and then @28 weeks in each of my pregnancies with no problems. They'll want you to get another shot again if your baby's blood is + after the birth. All of my babies had - blood, so I didn't have to get the shots then. Good luck.

HunnieBunch I think you are still okay. Its only two weeks. I would just make sure they KNOW that you need the RhoGam shot. Also for me I had to get the prescription filled before hand and BOY WAS IT EXPENSIVE! After the insurance discount I still paid 75 dollars! You'll have to get it after the baby is born as well if the baby has positive blood. OH by the way if this is your first baby you are totally fine!! First babies are always fine, its just a precautionary measure for future children. Your blood has to mix and your body has to make antibodies for any reaction to happen and it only affects second plus children unless ofcourse you have had a miscarriage or an abortion. But still NO WORRIES, you are okay. I would just call the doc's just to be rea__sured.

I was just in the same situation your in now long ago. I was afraid that i may harm my baby because of not taking the rhogam shot at exactly 28 weeks. I didn't get my rhogam shot until 31 weeks. My Doc. told me that as long as i get it between 28-34 weeks, i will be fine. I'm okay now. I got to have another rhogam shot after delivery.
