Avoid Opening Cabinets

Hi, my 16 month old lo, is always opening cabinets and drawers and takes everything out! The other day he took out a cup and threw it, obviously breaking it, I know there are some things that you can buy to keep lo from opening them. Some security guards or I dont know what they are called. Anybody know of these and where I can buy them?

target has latches for cabinets, they are in the baby section, usually on the end of an aisle where the outlet covers are

I would also suggest making a cabinet or drawer of things like tupperware, measuring cups, and things like that that would be his "own" drawer that he could open and play with anytime. Once I did that for my dd (whose now 20 months) she stopped even trying to get in the others. Good luck.

We got some latches as well, I believe these ones are safety first. I love them because they have the option of not using them without un-installing them. So when he learns not to take stuff out we won't need to undo a latch everytime we go in the cupboard, but also wont' have to put them back on when this baby is getting in them.
