NAP DROP

ok..my 27 mo old is taking a LONG time to fall asleep lately. She doesn't cry, she just sits in her bed and talks to her bunny....for 2 hours...at nap time, and bed time. The problem is, I don't know when to call it quits with the nap cause she does fall asleep after a while, but then she is in bed for a lond time, and is too awake to go to bed at night, and the same thing happens. Yesterday, I skipped the nap, and she went right to bed at night.....but she had a little crankiness in the latter half of the day. What to do...what to do...

My 27 month old is the same way. She's not to eager to nap, and is cranky if she goes too long without a nap. I'm concerned because it seems too early to drop that one nap.

My 15 month olds play when they go down for a nap, too. If they are cranky, they get a nap. I don't get too concerned if they don't sleep. I just send them to bed earlier if they don't sleep. (I think that naptime is more for my sanity anyway)
