is it really possible for someone to lose one twin while maintaining a pregnancy of the other twin? No problems with cervix or plug. Both are intact.

Yes, I've heard of women who have. I also recently read about a woman who was having a miscarriage and was in the emergency room. Then, a couple days later she was called by her doctor because her hcg levels were still high (in blood drawn during miscarriage) and they wanted to check her out. Turns out, she miscarried one baby but was originally carrying twins and the other baby seems to be doing fine!

i had a miscarriage at 9 weeks pregnant and didnt realise i was carrying twins but unfortunately i lost 1 of the babies at 10 weeks and lost the other at 21 weeks. but i do know people who have had a miscarriage and carried on to full term with the other hope this helps.

Yes it is. Often the weaker twin becomes the donor twin. It sounds like your pregnancy if fine, Don't worry.
