I have an ultra-sound scheduled on Wed for the NT test on my twins. Has anyone else had this done-either with singles or multiples? Does the risk increase with twins?

Is that the nuchal fold test??? If so, I had one done, but only the U/S part where they measure the fold. My understanding is the bloodword that goes along w/that test is inconclusive w/triplets or higher for some reason (may even produce a false positive or negative).

Thanks ladies for your answers. I had the ultra-sound test done yesterday. So far everything looks good for Baby A but Baby B is no longer with us. It was a strange apt -feeling happy & sad at the same time. Since I was no longer carrying multiples, I was able to get the bloodtest that goes along with it but will not get results until 17 weeks or so-thay draw blood again in week 16 & use both results.

That is sad news. I hope your pregnancy continues to be a healthy one despite the loss of your little baby b.

Thanks for your kind words TripletMom. I am hopeful. I've read that as long as the loss happens in the 1st trimester, there is generally little risk to the remianing twin or to the mother. I will find out more at my follow up apt on Monday morning.
