I have read on a couple other board about ladies taking there clomid for 7 to 10 days. Could this help at all?

I ovulate on my own. Up until now, I have been fertile Myrtle. I am now hoping for twins. I have 2 happy health boys. I have been trying to conceive for 3 months now, and nothing. My last cycle was my first cycle on Clomid, 100 mg, 2-6. I am also taking 800 mg of folic acid, baby asprin, and 3000 mg of EPO, and Mucinex. I was VERY VERY surprised to see AF.

So here we are on a new cycle. Today is CD 2 and I am taking my clomid again, 100 mg. Origanally I was planning to only take it for 5 days, but would it benefit me more to take it longer?

TIA!

I don't think there is any benefit to taking it longer than 5 days, that will just bugger up your cycle IMO. I haven't ever heard of people being told to take it longer than 5 days. Why are you taking 100mg? The starting dose for INFERTILE women is only 50mg (some as low as 25mg) taking a higher dose wont create more follies or anything, just waste your money...You may be overdosing your system with all of the things you're taking...Do you take the baby asprin for a bleeding disorder? Or just because you heard other ladies are? EPO= evening primrose oil? or something else? I have also heard that MOST fail on their first clomid cycle. Of course we can't be certain of what's going on when you're not naturally infertile and unmonitored (I assume)
Are you charting etc aswell? Are you DTD too often? etc etc etc. Good luck this cycle...
