I am currently 14 weeks pregnant with my second set of twins, the first were fraternal, but these seem to be identical since they share a sack, with a small divide and the placenta. i know that sharing a placents increases risk for ttts and i was wondering if anybody has been or is currently in this situation and how things turned out or are turning out.

It looks like I have one placenta, but the dr. is not sure because it is in the delta shape which could mean two. So far no problems and the babies have been measuring the same, give or take an ounce or two. Congrats on your second set, wow.

TTTS can be super scary. I suggest you google TTTS and it will bring you to the foundation tha is extremely helpful. good Luck with yoru second set.

Hi! Sharing a placenta means you're at risk for TTTS. PLEASE google it - it can be very serious! What worries me more is that you said that they're also sharing a sack. Are they monoamniotic also? If so, you need to worry about that much more and not TTTS.
