Hi......I am 11 weeks pregnant with twins. I had an ultrasound when I was only 6 1/2 weeks pregnant to find out my due date and SURPRISE there was 2 sacs and poles!!!! My question is does anyone know how often they do ultrasounds when you are expecting twins? I am very nervous because we found out so early and I've heard about the vanishing twin thing.

Congrats on your twins! We found out at 8 weeks and had them every 4 weeks. I did not see a peri, just my OB/GYN. Although almost all Dr.'s consider twin pregnancies high risk, I had a very uncomplicated pregnancy and didn't require another Dr. It does vary though from Dr. to Dr. and from specialist to specialist.

I started off at every 4 weeks too. At 25 weeks they changed me to every 3 weeks. I'm now at 26 weeks and am being seen every 3 weeks. Of course, if you have any complications you could be seen more often. So far my pg has been mostly uncomplicated.
