Vitex Or Clomid

I am a 42 year old mother of two, 17 and 10. Both were conceived and delivered naturally with no complications. I am now considering giving it one more try. I would really like to conceive twins and have been reading lots of info on methods of increasing my chances. I have been on the Depo shot for the past 9 years and stopped taking it over the summer. My periods have returned, but of course not with regularity. My Dr. has advised me to "hurry up because I am not getting any younger." I am considering taking clomid - unprescribed to increase my chances. Not into the lectures. If anyone can please give me some facts, good and bad, I will make my own decision from there. Thanks for your information and good luck to all of you.

well, being 42, you already have increased chances for twins. You should probably post this on the problems getting pregnant board though, because you will get more answers and support there. This board is for moms of twins. But from what I've read most ppl are getting unprescribed clomid from outside of the US, either india or mexico. I have purchased drugs this way but not clomid so I can't tell you if its worth your time. I've also noticed that most of the ladies who do take clomid do not end up with twins after all their struggle. Good luck ttc. The other board should give you more advise and tips.

STARTNAGAIN, If you're trying to conceive twins, go to the forum under general pregnancy questions, and open the thread TTC twins 2008- most of the women on this thread are trying to conceive twins, and are taking u.p. clomid to do so, you won't find any to lecture here, just support :-) Hope to see you join :-) Good luck~Mandi~
