Bleeding Normal Implantation Early Sign Of A Miscarriage

Hi ladies out there - I am hitting a bit of a panic button right now as I don't know if what I experienced today is normal. We think we are pregnant (results not back from doctor yet). I am 10 days past ovulation and 2 days before, what I believe will be, a missed period. This morning had some bright red blood on the TP and a little in the bowl. From there it turned to brown and was much much less. No cramps. Since this is the first time around for us am a little concerned. Is this implantation bleeding? Early signs of a miscarriage? Perfectly normal? I would be pleased to receive any advice or common experiences. Thanks!

It is hard to say. If you are 10 dpo, it could be implantation bleeding, but that wouldn't cause you to have blood in your bowl (maybe tmi, but it could be hemroids). If you are 2 days before AF is to arrive, and you think it is implantation bleeding, it would be too soon for a pregnancy test to detect it. Your body doesn't start producing HCG until the egg has implanted. So, get the results from your doc., if they are negative, don't worry. If you don't get your Af, test again in a week or so. you may have tested too early. Good luck!!

Thanks Tammy. I just got back from the ER as things got really bad this morning (major cramping and lots of red blood). I thought I should get checked out. Sadly, I did have a miscarriage. It is not done yet, but at least I am home now. Thanks again for your reply.
