Colostrum can leak from the b___st as early as 12-14 weeks pregrant. Colostrum is a thick yellowish looking fluid, as you progress into pregnancy it will turn to a clear thin look. This fluid comes when your b___st are preparing for the nursing of your baby. Colostrum contains nutrients, protein that are healthy for the baby. The baby will find off of this for about 2-3 days till your milk comes in. when the milk comes in, be prepared by having good supportive bras, and you might want to purchase some nipple pads to protect against unwanted leakage. For further information surf on the web, their are lots of informative sites. Oh and your b___st can become twice sometimes even triple their normal size once the milk comes. This can be painful sometimes.
