i don't know if it will or not but if you are pregnant make sure you get the infection taken care of fast it is risk factor for a miscarrige. i had a bladder infection and didn't realize it and also had a high fever. two days after my high fever i miscarriged. so take care of yourself and get some antibiotics for that infection asap

This is just a guess, but usually with a bladder infection you get frequent urination...for a home pregnancy test your hcg levels need to be at a certain point to show up on a test...with frequent urination this may keep them lower...definately see your doc to clear the infection...and try going through the night without urinating...then test with first morning urine...that is usually the best time..good luck

Hello! I am having the same curiousity. I was having all of the signs of being pregnant with some bad cramping. I went to the Dr's. and she did a pregnancy test that came back negative. She diagnosed me with Group B Strep (type of bladder infection) - when I do the reaserch on it it usually applies to pregnant woman. I still feel pregnant - this would be my third, so I know how it feels - I am confused! Someone out there needs to give us woman a sure answer - teehee! I will keep you posted if I learn anything else. Hope you all have a great day!
