My OB says that my baby is in position.I'm 37 weeks today but my question is this, the top of my stomach( top of bellybutton) side to side is where my belly gets rock hard can the baby actually move out of th eproper position or should I not worry about it? Any help would be great .

It is probably possible but I'm sure the OB will be keeping a close eye on it. I have a friend whose baby was not in position and the midwife suggested that she rub her hands a certain way on her belly to entice the baby to move where she wanted it to. I wouldn't suggest to do that to yours if it is already in place but perhaps if the little baby moves from where it is that your OB may suggest that method. I think you're one of the lucky ones, though!

The baby can move out of position, but usually by your 37th week they dont...they will keep an eye on it though...good luck

my doctor told me that usually, but it can change, but usually the way the baby is at the 35th week is normally where the baby stays...i wouldn't worry...2 weeks ago at my last appointment my baby was breech and today at my appoitment the baby was vertex meaning head down....
