I was told the s_x of the baby is determined by the fathers genes.Does anyone know if this is true?

yep, from everything I know it's daddy dearest's choice to make a boy or girl...but not really a choice, but his sperm which relates to the chroms!

yes... being that females have "X,X" chromozomes, and males have "X,Y" it would only makes sense to see that men give the s_x.

Its true that men dicide the s_x of the baby. A girl will have xx chromozones and the male will have xy chromozones. Our eggs have a x chromozone, and the males sperm will either have a x or a y. Thats what makes the s_x. They add the missing peice.

It has to do with the father's chromosomes, as you only have X's, but your husband will be able to give you an X or a Y, which combination will eventually determine the s_x of your child (XX-girl, XY-boy)
