Tiredness

I am 15 years old and 3 and a half weeks pregnant and I always feel tired...even when I get lots of sleep the night before. Lately, I've found myself getting up as late as 1:00 p.m. I usually go to bed 1:00 a.m or later, but still. Last night I went to bed at 2:00a.m.(well I guess I went to bed this morning). I got up this morning at 7:30 and then went home and went back to bed at about 8:45 and slept until 1:00 p.m. Is this normal, or am I just making my self think I need more sleep? Please help!! I don't understand a lot of stuff about being pregnant. :(

You do need to get your rest. Are you eating well? Being pregnant requires good nutrition. You also will need to eat more often. Not eating a good diet can cause you to be very tired. Try to stay away from processed foods, and eat lots of fruit and vevetables. Eat foods as close to their natural form as you can, such as whole grains. Stay away from fatty foods and foods that are deep fried, such as french fries and donuts. Take a good prenatal vitamin. The best ones usually need to be taken2 to 3 times a day. Laying and sitting around will also make you more tired. Go for a walk every day. Exercise is good during pregnancy. You might also try to sleep durring regular hours. You body gets better rest when you sleep with the natural daylight/darkness cycle. Good luck. Hope this helps.
