Types Of Bleeding When Not Pregnant

So are there differences for each of these types of bleeding - spotting, breakthrough bleeding, and ovulation bleeding? When do they occur in the cycle and why? Does implantation bleeding (if even present) occur only at the time AF is due?

I really think the only difference between the bleeding is WHY the occur. Spotting can be cause by basically anything.....stress, s_x....whatever. Breakthrough bleeding usually occurs when you are on some type of birthcontrol, and you bleed in the middle of your cycle. It can also happen due to a change in hormones. You can bleed from ovulation, but usually not alot. It is usually just a little spotting when you go to the bathroom. Implantation bleeding can come before Af is due, or when Af is due. It depends on when the egg implants, and it doesn't occur for ever woman, and is different for everyone. I had implantation bleeding w/ my son, and all it was just a little spotting. Some woman bleed moderate, and think they are actually getting their period. So, it just depends.
