Swine Flu Vaccine Testing On Pregnant Women
The National Institute of Health has now expanded its testing of the Swine flu vaccine to pregnant women. Previous testing was conducted only on non-pregnant adults and children. So far the testing has gone very well. On Wednesday, September 9, the testing was opened to include 120 pregnant women in either their 2nd or 3rd trimester of pregnancy to see how they respond to the vaccine before allowing the shot to be given to the general population.
