Swine Flu Vaccine And Pregnacy
Although the first doses of the swine flu vaccine have recently been released, the version currently being administered, the nasal spray, is not recommended for pregnant women. The spray contains the live flu virus which can not be given to pregnant women or any other high risk group, such as those with diabetes, heart conditions or cancer. Pregnant women and all others in high risk are advised to wait for the swine flu vaccine shot, due out sometime soon.
