I just entered my fouth month and both my cat (11yrs,) and my dog (5yrs.) are acting strange with me and each other. Normally my cat hates to be around people. Lately she is constantly at my feet rubbing against my leg. My dog has to be right at my side too. If I sit down she comes runing ad lays beside me and starts licking me, ALOT !!! Now my cat and dog hate each other but seem to tolerate each other lately just so they can both be with me at all times. I just love it...

I'm 38 weeks pregnant. I live with a lot of people and animals, but the strangest thing has been happening. My boyfriend's cat, who detests just about everyone, hates to be touched, bites anyone who tries to pet her, and is basically a grouchy old woman has been following me the past few days, as if guarding me. She has been cuddling with me, letting me pet her, standing outside doors and waiting for me. Guarding the hallway as to make sure the dogs leave me alone. It's actually nice.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and the owner of a gorgeous English Springer Spaniel. For the last week or so he has been sniffing my tummy and wanting even more cuddles than usual. He is also very careful around my tummy. He used to jump up onto it, but now he goes to the side or even puts his legs either side and puts no weight on my stomach. He is very careful when getting off my knee, dropping off carefully or jumping over it! He keeps looking at me as well, as if to say "I know!". How strange! It's quite nice though!

My cat seems to be ignoring me, even growling at me... I'm only four weeks pregnant! Normally he loves a good cuddle and sleeps in bed with us, but since the night before my positive test he has been sleeping in another room... Am sad - will he get over it??

I've noticed that Winter, my 14-year old cocker, has been looking through the living room's window from the garage (he is not allowed to be in the house), but he keeps looking at me as if he was taking care of me or as if he was really committed to watch me. When the door is open, he repeatedly comes in looking for me, (even with the others telling him to go outside) with that same look on his face, like analizing me, like watching me very closely. I think he is aware of my pregnancy and he just wants to check if I'm ok or something like that.

A couple of weird things have been happing with my pets. I have a dog and 3 cats. 2 of my cats are in love with me to no end and have never left me alone, the other(Black) has never been one to cuddle with me or want my attention he is more in love with my husband. Today I was sitting on my couch watching TV and Black jumped on my lap and started rubbing his head all over my belly when I tried to push him down he clawed onto my leg for dear life and would not move. My dog on the other hand has always been very in love with both my husband and myself. He is house trained and never leaves our side. He hasn't changed much except when we leave him he messes all over and sometimes even when we are there. I don't want to get my hopes up about being pregnant, my husband and I have only been Pregnant once and we miscarried and have not had any luck since . . . but the other part of me wants to think my animals are trying to let me know something . . .
