I have a kitten (2 months old) and a dog (6 years old). Since before i found out i was pregnant my kitten has not left my side. She followsme everywhere. Wehn i come in the door she bounces down the hall to me....this isn't normal because she'd normally ignore me and get on with whatever naughty thing she was doing but all of a sudden she's became very affectionate and clingy. My dog who is normally the most affectionate dopg you would ever know has become depressed. she spends her days sulking. She's also acting liek she is pregnant, producing milk and nesting. but i know for a fact that she isn't pregnant at all because she's not even with a dog. She's also started to have 'accidents' in the house, which she has never had since she was a puppy. It's very strange!!

We have a full blooded beagle, who is 9 years old. For the first few weeks, he would just sit & stare at me, with an almost angry expression. He pretty much ignored me in favor of my husband, which was strange, because he's always been MY punkin'. I don't know if he felt betrayed or what. Now I am 16 weeks, and he is so clingy I can't believe it. Whenever I sit in the recliner, he has to jump up and lay with his head near my belly. When I get up to do chores or other things around the house, he follows me. He seems to not want to let me out of his sight. I believe he knows that something is going on, he's just not sure what yet. I believe that he will be jealous at first, but that sooner than later, this will be HIS baby!

WHEN I WAS PREGNANT WITH MY GIRLS, MY MALE CAT WOULD ALWAYS BE ATTATCHED TO ME, AND MY FEMALE CAT DIDN'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH ME. NOW THAT I'M PREGNANT WITH A BOY, MY MALE CAT WANTS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME, AND MY FEMALE CAT IS ALL OVER ME. SHE SLEEPS WITH ME EVERY NIGHT.

When I was pregnant back in 2004 - my cat would stand right in front of my feet and not let me walk too fast. If I was trying to do laundry or clean things up - she'd start moving back and forth in front of my feet to stop me. She seemed to sense when I was overdoing things and needed to rest. As soon as I sat/layed down for about 30 mins (with her next to me of course) then she'd let me get up and move around again. We realized it and I started following her lead.
