My 2 cats were always pretty affectionate but since i became pregnant my male cat is extra loveable, he sleeps under the covers with me and i wake up to him licking my belly sometimes, last week i woke up with a killer charlie horse i was freaking out, and he jumped up next to me and u could see in his face that he was concerned his eyes were huge, he knew something was wrong, he was staring my husband down like he had hurt me or something, like he was going to protect me, after a bit he went back in his bed and layed there just watching my husband. we got a kick out of it!!

I have two dogs, a lab and a boxer that follow me around constantly. Everywhere I walk they are a foot behind me. They follow me from room to room and will not sleep with the others in my house, they have to sleep in my room. Even when I'm sleeping both of them have to be on the bed with me. I tried to keep kicking them off for a while because three people ( one pending) and two large dogs on a bed can get a little cramped, but they keep coming back so I eventually just give in and let them sleep with me. It can get very annoying but they are extremely protective, my boyfriend says he doesn't worry about me when I'm home alone.

When I was pregnant, my cat (1 of 4) loved to lay on my belly when I laid on my side while watching TV on the couch. Now when my 7 week old son has his tired 30 min crying sessions before bedtime, the same cat seems really distraught and runs up to me while I am holding my son & bites my leg, even if I push her away she will continue to bite me until he stops crying!! Not sure if he is worried about the baby or upset from the loud screams?!

My fiance bull terrier staffy cross would usually ignore me and only come to me for food if i have one in my hand that is. Lately she would nose around my stomach and breast. would lay on top of my legs for the first time as as well harrasing me to sit with her! This was before i found out im pregnant. It was her that alerted me that i am pregnant before i took the test. Amazing what dogs can do!
