Has anybody experienced this? My little dog is protective in general. Since I have become pregnant she is snuggling with me more. However, she also has periods where she suddenly seems terrified and runs away and hides under the bed from me. I am wondering if this will pass, as she is our first little baby?

My sister's maltese dog welcomed me one day after a long day out with a trick. It kept standing on its hind legs for about 5 minutes. And my sister kept wondering why he was acting so strange only in front of me, since we were in a group. It kept looking at me and I kept smiling at him. Someone hinted that maybe it knew I was pregnant.

I have two cats, Tigger and Precious. Tigger is very needy and crying a lot for me and follows me around alot more. She wants me 24/7 when she isn't sleeeping.

My horses! They are always nuzzling and nudging my belly. My main horse has become more soppy and affectionate and even my friends' horses nudge my belly. At first I thought it was just an accident, but it keeps on happening.

Yes! I thought it was just me until I saw these comments. My cat has always been MY cat if you know what I mean. My cat always sits and sleeps with me, but, my gosh, even when I go to the bathroom, she has to sit on my lap. And at night she is so close to my face, I'm literally breathing her hair in. It actually gets pretty annoying when you can't sleep as it is.

From experience, my cat has grown more affectionate. He sleeps curled up around my belly at bed time. The dog has not really changed much.
